Sport Horses Holland specializes in the training and sales of high quality dressage horses. If you wish to sell a high-quality horse, we can assist you. We create professional sales videos and photographs to present your horse in the best possible light.
We can offer your horse to potential clients in our extensive network in Europe, United states and Asia. You can choose to sell your horse directly from your stable or have it trained and sold at our facility.
We will start with planning the dates of your trip, we suggest a stay of 2-3 days. This will allow you to visit different stables and try several horses.
Two weeks in advance of your trip, we will start to make a selection of horses that meet the requirements you have set.
We can pick you up at the airport in Holland and take you to stables to try out the selected horses. We can also arrange the hotel for you.
Our 10% commission is included in the communicated prices.
We will assist you with the arrangement of the vetting at the clinic of your choice. We have a very good selection of international vets that we have good experiences with.
We can help you organize the export papers and transport of your horse to it’s new home
You only have to book a flight to the Netherlands and we will take care of the rest. We will pick you up at the airport and bring you to different horses for tryouts. We charge a daily fee of €250 for pick up / drop off from the airport , petrol and extra costs. We suggest staying at least 2 days to be able to show you as many horses as possible.
Our 10% commission (ex VAT) is included in the sales price of the horse, unless Sport Horses International is the seller of the horse. In case Sport Horses International is the seller, we will clearly state this.
It depends if the owner is a company or a private seller of the horse and were the horse will be shipped to. If the horses are private owned there is no VAT on the price.
Off course, that's one of our main pillars as we want to make sure the buyer knows all the ins and outs of the horse they are purchasing. Sport Horses International can arrange the prepurchase exam for you at a clinic nearby the selected horse or a clinic of your choice.
The costs vary from one clinic to another, and they also depend on the amount of tests and xrays you want to have done. A standard prepurchase exam mostly costs between €500-€1000. If you don’t need to redo the xrays and only want a clinical exam, the cost will be between €150 – €200.
If you cannot travel to the location where the horse is, Sport Horses International can also test ride the horse. We will inform you honestly how the horse behaves under the saddle. Also we will make videos of the tryout and send it to you. The cost for try out of a horse is €200,- ex vat, if you purchase the horse this amount will be deducted from the price of the horse (please note that we only tryout horses in our collection).
